My bride-to-be and I are looking for a photographer near Montreal, Quebec, for our wedding on May 17. As you can guess by this last minute post, we got ditched by the photographer we had found and are kind of scrambling for alternatives!
The wedding is kind of different because we are getting hitched at an orchard, where they make ice cider among other things. The apple trees should be blossoming by the 17th (or so we hope). The location was chosen in part because of its potential for nice outside pictures. This is not a wedding place per se, and most of the wedding/cocktail will be taking place outside.
What we are looking for is a photographer that would be willing to come for about 3 hours for the afternoon ceremony and cocktail/cider tasting that will follow. It's a small affair with around 40 people present, 7 of them being kids. We are not into the typical wedding photography shots, but we are more looking for creative pictures taken outdoors. I would even take care of the processing myself.
The wedding is taking place in Frelighsburg, Quebec, near the border with Vermont. It's about 1.5 hours from downtown Montreal, about 40 minutes from Burlington, Vermont.
