I am using a Nikon D60 with a Tamron AF XR 28-300 lens (which doesn't AF due to compatibility with the D60).

I was taking action shots of little league baseball and was getting a lot of nice, crisp shots with no motion blur. I changed my settings for a challenge, and can't seem to get myself back to where I was. I'm getting all kinds of motion blur now.

I was using the aperture priority before. Focus was not a problem. I've been messing with my settings to try & get back, but can't seem to.

Any suggestions?

6.3 is not a very wide aperture, so you have to bump up your ISO to get your shutter speed faster.

Check the photos you've taken before. There is something called EXIF data. There is some software that came with your Nikon D60. You should be able to use that software to view this data. Otherwise, you should be able to use any photo editing software to view this information.

It'll show you what settings you were using such as exposure mode, exposure settings, and ISO info.

That should help.

Doh!

Didn't even think of that.

Thanks!
