Thought I'd share this little fellow with you. Cute or what?

As they say, a vole in the hand is worth two in the bush...

Cute picture!

Very cute. My son caught two and named them salt and pepper, then he named, parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme, then....

The first thing I noticed were the reflections in the eye. Diffently very nice photos. Where the rest of them?

There were more but most were out of focus. Trying to capture the little fellow wriggling about with an autofocus camera is not easy. A conventional lens barrel focus ring as found on DSLRS (?) would have made life much easier - one of the features I miss on making the transition to digital.

I found this little fellow loitering outside my bedroom window the other day, common field mouse?

Anyone up for a rodent challenge?

Too bad the little critters can carry Hantavirus that really mess you up.

Odds are you won't get it, but always be careful. Better safe than sorry.

Oh, and they're cute until you have to get rid of a whole bunch of them. I once caught 28 in a three month period back in 1993. They almost drove me mad... or maybe they did
