| Just upgraded to CS4 suite - found out I had to download and install the Camera Raw plug in for PS, but still don't get thumbnail previews in Bridge (Canon CR2 files) any help? |

I upgraded from CS3 to CS4 (after buying 5DII and thus needing the latest version of ACR) and didn't need to download anything additional for thumbs to show up in Bridge. Other than a general lack of plug-in support for the 64-bit version, forcing me to work in the x86 (32-bit) version, I've had no issues since install.

| I found I couldn't see mine either but once I updated the version of Camera Raw to 5.3; it worked OK. I'm using the Mac version of CS4 and I needed to install the new version of Adobe Updater first. |

| I just did this last month - I didn't have to isntall a plug in at all. I think there's something odd going on here - are you on Mac or PC? |

That'll probably do the trick. I didn't try running it until it was fully updated (i.e., I opened it after initial DL, opted for all updates then restarted (after reboot) and have had zero issues; thumbnails worked from the get go.

| Thanks Rob. It rebooted and then wants to upload another several hundred MBs worth of updates. Still waiting for it to finish. Grrrrr... |
