I'm watching them live on BBC World News, and it's making me furious!

While I completely acknowledge why people are protesting various matters in London today, and support their right to do so, it is once again a small minority creating trouble that engulfs the rest.

Outside the Bank of England there is a line of police officers (none of whom had their asps drawn at this stage) partitioning the crowds, then every few minutes there is a huge push forwards from furthur back in the crowd (read: those that could not have been atagonised by the officers). Many of these individuals have their faces concealed and have been reported as screaming ''Revolution!'' as they charge the police.

Meanwhile those photographers and peaceful protesters at the front of the crowd are forced into a crush against the police with no way out. At one point the line of officers was actually broken and they were forced against a wall as missiles were hurled at them from further back in the crowd.

I understand that many people are angry with the current situation, but I still don't believe that the average Joe who feels the hardship will release that anger by attacking police officers who are just trying to control the situation. It has been reported that dormant anarchist groups have seized the oppotunity of the current climate, and simply come out to fight.

And looking at the live shots, I can belive it....

I don't normally post in Rant, but this got to me so I needed to vent.

Continue with your day, Thanks!
