I got several comments about it not being abstract enough, which I expected!

Hah! She POSTED! Everyone welcome Penny to the forums!

As to whether her waves are "abstract enough", in my view the image represents an interesting abstract of motion itself, or the stages of motion: look at the varying degrees of blur in the various areas of water. But it was of course highly unlikely the voters would see it this way :-)

I didn't enter in this challenge so I really don't have any outtakes. I do have a question however. I took this photo back in January. It came out like this by mistake but I sort of liked it. Would this be considered Abstract Motion?

Naw... It's just motion, nothing abstract about it. Pretty cool shot though :-)

Thanks...I wasn't quite sure what abstract motion was and all I could think of was this shot. Good thing I didn't even attempt anything.
