I dont know whats better, having your score start up high (in the 7's) and watch it plummet down to the 5's with each press of the update button. Or to have it start in the 4's and watch it rise to the 5's with no chance of ever reaching that 6 mark?
I started out high..and it's been creeping down quickly! |

Well, if the photo does not fit the title, then yeah, that's the way it should be. Some people have like "Widgets and Wadgets" as their title, which may be a song, but the photo only shows "Wadgets" and not a single "Widget". |

Well, it seems I just got one of your trolls. As soon as I posted that last score it dropped again. lol
So your abstract score is hovering around the same as mine?
I am finding the Fauna challenge frustrating. I have a couple possibles but really wish for advanced editing.
FS should be a blast. I followed my heart and not my brain last FS and as a result got killed. Now I have a ton of ground to make up on everyone in the FS marathon! |
Abstract score is trying to break 5.8 (and I am real happy about the score, if not for the DPCO I would have stayed miles away from this challenge)
Yeah you are right about the heart and brain thing. I am going to go for somewhere in between LOL!! Like you said need to make up ground for the FSM. |

I am seriously in need of a hug!!! :(
Started on 5.5 (which was bad enough) and have droped to 5.17 in the space of 10 votes, which is .3 below my laughable abstract picture that was taken, processed and uploaded in less than 10 minutes.
I really wish I knew what went on in the heads of voters.

True... I'm pretty much taking people at their word or looking them up if it seems they used a song lyric instead of a title. There are so many countries with different songs and artists... |

I probably should have titled it Song - Album - Artist, but actually, now I can blame my low scores on voters not knowing my choice of song instead of my mediocre skills.. yeah, that's it, they're just voting low because they don't know the song :) |

Well, if voters are scoring it down because it hasn't got the artist in the title, that sucks, as challenge clearly states "Represent the title of a rock song with your entry."...it doesn't even say you have to mention the title nevermind the artist !!!!!!!

First of all... Great challenge and great photos guys. I have not voted yet but I did look through them and there are some impressing entries. I did not get to participate in the challenge because of an overload of work, school, and stress.
I think its rediculous for someone to vote an image down because the entry did not list the artist. When I vote, I am going to vote with the idea for this challenge being "if the artist(s) was going to release a single, how well would the image fit to be the cover of the single." I think that is a good way to go about it, any other ideas for voting? |
