Why would anyone not agree? All photos are very visible on this site and it doesn't look like a very commercial project. Anyway, you have my permission! (now I just have to find my own photo somewhere).

Hi everyone. I wish I could say that the 1000th Challenge Collage was going to print soon but I don't know. At this moment it's in langdons and SC court. I have the printable version but have not got any further news. As soon as I find out something I will let everyone know.

Can't remember if I sent you my permission or not, but you have it. Thanks for putting this together.

Today I received an email concerning the 1000th challenge print. It's been about six or seven months since I first posted and still no word from langdon on getting it printed. I was going to delete the image last week from my hard drive because it takes up a lot of space in a .pdf file w/layers but didn't.

I just wondering what to do with this picture. I would like to send it to people that would want a printable version but I don't have releases from all photographers. Do I have to have a release from all photographers since each picture is in web form?

I guess I will give it a few days and then make my decision on weather to delete it or not. I hate deleting something that took so many hours to create.

Burn it to a disc and save it.

I can't burn it to disc at the moment because my computer wants to be a pain in the butt. I can read CD/DVD but cannot burn to any. When I try to burn a CD/DVD I get an error that the drive not avalible. I installed a USB DVD/CD and the same thing. Even my floppy drive is effected. ASUS says my HD is going bad or my motherboard (controller).

I don't have a NEW HD to see if it's the HD, if it's the motherboard it's under warranty till the end of November but I have no idea how to take everything apart and to send it to ASUS. The place that built my computer only provided a one year warranty.

The .pdf file (100mb) is to large to email. But the finished version (printable jpg) is small enough to email.

Use a free program called YouSendIt.

You could email it this way to someone and they may be able to burn to a DVD...if you want to try...send it to me and I'll offer to burn it to disc for you. Will then need your mailing addy. Just an idea. :)

Sent you a PM.

I've been thinking about this and wondering what was happening. I guess we need to yell at Langdon, eh? Have you sent a ticket to remind him?
I realllllllly want a copy of this, and it would be terrible for all your work to go to waste.

Can you load it onto a USB thumb drive?
10/08/2009 07:55:26 AM · #141
