I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... this was one of the few images I scored a 10.
Most of my tens are awesome sunset, landscape photos, this is the only "portrait" style photo that made the top tier for me. I don't know what it is about this photo that speaks to me, but the inherent sadness on the boys face really moves me, and that is the mark of a fantastic photo. Good luck for a strong finish in the challenge.
What do you think my chances are of managing to type 1000+ comments like that lol... |
I've left many comments like that as well. Some really speak to me so I have to add more to my comment. But I'm finding that I'm getting more and more to the point as I go on. It's really a lot of work, I don't feel like I'll ever finish =( |

| I have to tell you that I love all the comments, 28 so far and most are very complimentary despite my low score. I am learning that everybody has completely different tastes! What one person might think is great about the photo another will think it needs to be improved or changed. So many contradicting comments and so many different little things that could make it better. So I guess the solution is that I should take every comment with a grain of salt since the only one I really need to please with my photo is myself. |

You will know which comments to believe when they offer you advice, because they will "feel" right, and you will agree with them. It's by paying attention to those comments that will improve your photography in the direction you naturally feel is right. You're right in that everyone has different tastes, and has opposing views on what is right. The only person who can say what is right for you, is you. :-) |

I am at the same point...(comments) but I have to push as we are going to go camping over by the shuttle launch this wkend so I will loose internet service...so it is today and tomorrow...*grits teeth*....I can do it... |

Hey Deb, could I possibly be added to the Century Club list? The thing is, I did not comment on the first 100 in order but have voted and left comments not just on the high end ones but all across the scale:-) I am going to try to get to 250 maybe shoot for 280 which is 25% before it rolls over but time is what is against me.
