I made an idiotic mistake with an image that has a sun flare hitting the subject right in the crotch. I can't seem to get the flare under control. When I opened the image and looked closer, he has a couple of them overlapping in this area. wanted to know if anyone has any tips on fixing a sun flare oops. Sorry for not posting the image, but it's not one that I can post.

Thanks for any help!!!!!!

without being able to see the photo. I would say start off with a cloning tool and try to blend it out. I have done it in the past with sunflare as well as annoying shadows etc...

Assuming it's a spread-leg view with the sun setting behind the figure and between the legs, so the flare's coming from between the legs, select the vee between the legs and save the selection. Then use the healing brush and/or the spot-healing brush to fix that area, then invert the selection and do the same on the rest of the image. Take advantage of the "lighten" and "darken" settings on the healing brush as appropriate. It's not that hard to do unless the flare's really extreme.
