Like I said....I am new and trying to learn. I don't think it's proper of me to critique quite yet. Plus I haven't voted since I starting entering.


One great way of learning is to comment on others' photos. It helps stretch your mind to think about what is appealing to you and what is not. You don't need to know all the technical jargon to leave a valid critique. Everyone can have a reaction to a photo regardless of their experience.

Also a good idea to keep voting. If all of us who enter don't vote, we won't have much voting going on.

If you can cast a vote, you can critique. You simply relay what it was about the photograph that caused you to give it a 1 or a 10 or any number in between.

If you don't think you have an opinion, then don't vote.


And we all know that you have an opinion...which is good...cause without one we would all be boring...but how about you cast a few more comments too please especailly with your one votes.

You are very welcome sweet. I don't mind the low scores so much...just wish people would back up their votes with comments...how else are people to learn?

Yayyyy...I think this is something we can all build on. It will either increase our score averages (from people not wanting to leave so many comments) or it will give us all more comments. Mind you, there are people out there who don't care either way...well we can't help everyone...but even if we help one person...it is worth it. And the ones that DO comment will have the benefit of learning from their own studies on the images that they comment on.

So, just to document this thing that will certainly not last: I currently have, with 12 votes, a score of 6.75!!! I know that a "hard rain is gonna fall" and "the other shoe will drop" and other cliches, but dayum...
