I'm going to order my Canon Rebel 300D today. Does anyone know of a better deal than BuyDigitalDirect.com for $868 (w/lens)?

I havent bought but I know people that have bought. All of them were happy except for one who actually ordered the wrong photo, but they returned it and did not even get hit with a restocking fee and they used the credti to get what they wanted. So if you do not like in 21 days send it back.

Be very very careful with whom you order from. Check out //www.resellerratings.com/ for reviews of websites from consumers. Some of these sites sell grey market cameras, or try to upsell you the accessories that come with a new camera. Don't let them part you from your hard earned money.

AM Photo World is a scam. I tried to order a Rebel 300D from them a while back because they had the cheapest price I saw. Turns out, the camera they sell doesn't include such luxuries as a battery (which the Rebel ships with), a warranty (which Canon supplies automatically), or any of the other stuff that you are supposed to automatically get when you buy this camera. You won't end up saving any money after having to deal with that crap. I got frustrated, canceled my order, and the the customer service guy actually started to make fun of me right on the phone! I went with B&H to buy my camera and haven't looked back.
