I went to school (from kindergarten to grade 12) with a girl named Crystal Ball. I didn't think it was strange until I was a teenager and it dawned on me! LOL
My niece has a gym teacher named Harry Butt.
I taught with a woman named Pansy Rose (Rose was her married name).
I know a woman named Jane who married a guy with the last name Janes and she took his name rather than keep her maiden name! |

I was going to be named "Robin Banks" ...but my mom decided that wasn't such a good idea. Years later, my uncle named a woman named Robin, so now she has the name...bwahahaha. I also never like my first name, so I wanted to go by my middle name, until I realized that Christine Banks sounds a bit like "Pristine Banks" I still kinda like it though :)
There is a guy at our bank named "Morgan Lynch." It's kind of like a combo between Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.
There was a guy in high school with the last name "Kay" and he swore that he would have his future son's name be "O" so he could be "O Kay"

I went to college with a guy named Greg Head. His dad was Richard, and yes, he went by Dick. I also knew a Jack Kanouff. I always thought they'd make an awesome morning show combo ("Good morning! I'm Jack Kanouff with Dick Head!") |

We get strange names in my line of work constantly... here are just a few examples:
London Bridges
Carte Blanche
Le-a (pronounced "Ledasha")
Abcde (pronounced "Absidy")
Dis'one and Dutta'one (first names of twins)
Siralexander (all one word)
Some that are not quite as bad:
Justice and Liberty (twins)
Smokey and Skye (also twins)
DannyBoy (father), Danny (son) and Daniel (son)
These are a few that I can remember off the top of my head... may add more later.

My mother in laws maiden name was Rosemary Hendry. She Married Thomas Tree.
She became Rose Tree.
Her one sister married a guy who whose surname is Stones, the other one married a Reed.
