Anyone up for a selective de-sat March side challenge?
Side challenge guidelines:
-Each image contain elements of de-saturation,
-Any editing you like (including textures, multiple images, etc.) - This is not a contest but about expression and exchange
-Submit at least 5 images between March 1st - 31st
-Photos to be taken starting 3/1.....or very close to it
-Try to comment on 5 entries, there is a lot that we can teach each other
-provide a short write up of image
-C&C is the method here. If you are commenting, be constructive and not personal. If you are the photographer, be able to accept a critique for what it is and not take it personally
-Have a lot of fun!

I'll play!
I'd like to add:
If commenting for these is going to be focused more on C&C, then I believe it is essential for the photographer to do write-ups on each photo they share in this in the photographer's comments telling us what they were going for and what concerns or issues they had shooting and what they'd like to get help on.
It's all well and good to give critiques, but it basically becomes a shot in the dark without really knowing what the photographer wants and/or was going for. This give us a chance as both critiquers, and photographers, to really have a constructive back and forth.

I agree with K10DGuy suggestions. I will update the guidelines in the next day or so.

| I'd like to try this. I'm off all DPC challenges permanently except for the monthly FS which affords me plenty of time to work on side challenges. |
