I'm a little late posting my image from the challenge. Thanks for the comments!

When I saw all the entries for the Posthumous challenge, I noticed that they all had some emotional, or storytelling aspect to them, and that, for the most part, they had little or no saturation. I thought it would be interesting to submit something which was completely different, so I chose an image which was superficial, and very vibrant in colour. I've commented & critiqued enough of posthumous's photos to know what he likes; and this was definitely not it. In the end, I was more interested in seeing if anybody would notice that I was trying to "think outside of the box".

Thanks for all those who took time to comment, and a special thanks to chromeydome for figuring out my intentions.

What can I say? Deep down, I am a shallow person....

I moved the original comment set; I left off the debate that ensued subsequently, mainly because it's too hard to move the multiple levels of quoting into the commments.

Thanks for your comments everyone. I guess I just wasn't thinking about who's challenge it was when I entered. :)

Thanks, Joe! You're a martyr for doing all of this.

So if you're thinking outside the box when you're already out of the box then where does that put you?

Far from where you want to be..lol

Here is my entry. I also added the unedited shot as a thumb in the photographer's comments.

Edit to add: Once again my thank you to everyone who participated in this. It was a pleasure.

This was great! Loved browsing through the images and reading the accompanying comments and interpretations...
Bravo to everyone, especially those who commented on everything and of course Joe for all the work he put into it.

If we make this a regular thing perhaps we can pass on the responsibility of collecting and posting images... (I'm up for it if need be)

Thanks everyone, I will update everything again later tonight. You don't need to quote all the images, if you just post your own I will add them to the applicable posts at the top. :)
