Hm, good question. Not sure, but I can recommend Irfanview for batch processing like that. It's super fast, and just works well--I use it even though I love Bridge.

For processing a large number of RAW to jpg I use: Tools/photoshop/Image Processor

From there you can set them how you want them saved

Try going into Bridge go to "Preferences" select "File Type Association" and try clicking on the "Reset to Default Associations" button. Assuming you have uninstalled CS3 everything should go back to CS2. If not you may have to go through that list and reset everything manually from PS CS3 to PS CS2.

Hey... well.. when I edit a batch of pics, I highlight them all, then right click, and click on "open in Camera Raw"... then I edit one And I can Syncronize my editing for the entire shoot... THEN highlight all the ones on the left I want to save, THEN click on "Save Images" button on bottom left of the Camera Raw window... and save them as JPG too in that window... you can use preset file names, ect... VERY handy... that's how I do it...

Check the file association through your Operating System. Are you on a PC or a Mac? I had this happen when I was running the Beta version of CS3 and it expired. It was a pain in the butt..

PC. were you ever to fix it?

The reason why everything is still associating with CS3 might be because it's all still supposed to auto-associate those filetypes with that program. If that's the case, you can fix it by doing this.

Ha, somebody beat me to it. Well, at least I beat them to a solution, and knew that JDubsgirl was a vista user, to boot! (courtesy of laptop thread)

No worries- basically the same for the right click way, but here's a step-by-step.
