First challenge? Gutsy in one sense but definitely the way to dive in. Kinda like learning how to ski on black diamond run then going on the bunny hill later.
However you do I am sure it will be fine. It can't be worse than my first entry anyways. :)

Actually higher than I expected. I was choosing between two images, one quite DPC friendly, the other not but I liked it better, i.e felt it said more.
I hadn't decided which one to go for when I fell asleep in the living room with the DPC UNfriendly one loaded in as a placeholder. It'll be interesting to see how it scores. I was fully expecting to wake up to a 3.15 score :p |

Hit 5.6 which is pleasing..... hopefully it will keep rising.
I really love this picture, so entered it as my personal fave... maybe something else would have scored higher, but I'm happy with my choice.
I actually have a print of my picture up on canvas, displayed in my living room. Anyone who ever visits comments on it... so this is all good enough for me.
Also, it reminds me of such a wonderful and magical day - it really captures the essence perfectly. |
