I have a Canon Powershot A650 and unfortunitely it got wet due to a leaky water bottle.

The camera itself works fine but the moisture that was in my lens has left several spots and blurriness. Is there a good repair place that can clean the inner workings of a lens? Is there a way I can do it myself?

One repair place said it wasn't worth getting repaired, but I spent $300 for it. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Hillary

I think it's very unlikely that you can get it fixed for a rational price. The entire camera will have to be dismantled to get the lens apart. It's not like an SLR lens, which can be uncoupled from the body. I could be wrong, but that's my gut feeling.

I think he's right. It'd probably make more sense just to get a new camera at this point if it's going to bother you. :/

Try this. Your camera isnt worth the repair. Just cleaning the inner lens isnt going to fix it. The water will eat the electronics.
