I was taking some photos under a street light and ended up getting light noise, or spots in the photo. Is there a method in Photoshop, lightroom or ARC for removing the red ball at the edge of the trees?

That appears to be lense flair to me. By slightly changing the angle of the shot, it should move or would be eliminated.

Quick selection tool to define the area, clone, deselect and clean edges with clone tool..

My bad, I thought you were asking how to avoid it, not fix it.

That's cool. I should have been paying attention when I took the photo. But when I saw it I thought it could be a Photoshop learning experience.

Using suggestions from ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', '/') + 1) . ' alans_world I
1. chose the wand tool and set the anti-alias value to 2
2. Selected the branches in a couple of places
3. Used the clone tool to paint the majority of the area
4. Deselect
5. use the clone tool to clean up the edges of the circle and branches
6. Use the heal tool to clean up a little more.

Here is the corrected image:
' . substr('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/30000-34999/34462/120/752923.jpg', strrpos('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/30000-34999/34462/120/752923.jpg', '/') + 1) . '
