In (but it's not so secret now that you blabbed it on the internet like this. But I'm still in).

135 on the easy one... very close. been tested several times growing up & adult, always had a range of 130-134, so this should be pretty accurate.

now I'm just too chicken to take the difficult one! :P

117 but I feel dumber now than ever before.

upon review, this test seems a little suspect. For shits and giggles, I answered A for all choices, regardless of the question, and scored 100. Not bad for choosing at random.
01/03/2009 08:47:58 PM · #34
rediculous because I scored 105 and pretty much just chose random for the ones I didn't know....mainly on the missing box thing. I feel I should have scored about a 75.

Tested years ago by a Psyc and scored 145....edit...and still I'm a bad speller.

Not ridiculous, and a typical response of someone who'd normally score well. Think about it, you scored 'above average' without even trying very hard, Ken.

btw - I researched this org. & they rate only slightly below Mensa for this kind of 'club'. Mensa's members equate roughly 1 person out of 50. International High IQ Society averages about 1 person out of 20.

I took it twice and the questions were different. The first time I took it I got 117. The second time I got 124.

My weakness is clearly the memorization of the patterns. The instant the patterned box disappears and the 4 to select from pops up, I completely forget what I had just seen and tried to memorize from the first. I had to guess on all of them all willy-nilly-like.

I did think about what you said...I may have got every one right that I actually tried to get right. And say I got 33% of the ones I guessed on...I guess this could explain a 105 when I feel I should have got a 75.

To tell you the truth....EVERY one that didn't have a "puzzle" concept to it were VERY easy for me.

104 Easy One
124 Hard One

131 easy, 118 hard. Those visual memory ones destroyed my score. That and a question about the remarkable behavior of holomorphic functions near singularity.

125...lol

I've gotten worse at these as I've gotten older, I remember getting 160-ish...bah.

Visual memory ones were fun, I just counted how many squares of each color, lol

Hard one: 119, lol.

There was one that I KNEW!! but I clicked the wrong answer accidentally. It had to do with imaginary numbers in the complex plane, and it's called the mandelbrot set...
