Well I was driving right by Antelope canyon today so i figured that this would be the BEST place to get sand stone shots for the sand challenge. But when I get there I discover that they want $26 cash to go in!! Didnt have that kind of money, and I feel like i really missed out. Heres some pics to show you what I missed:

A good time of year to check altitude and azimuth of the sun at the time of your paid access.

I'm sure the pictures would look great, but I'm guessing many voters would consider them DNMC because sandstone isn't sand.

A short hijack; Googling altitude and azimuth of the sun and moon as well as sunrise/sunset moonrise/moonset and plotting them on a AAA map of your area helps a lot to get the perfect spot to shoot a sunrise/sunset. Also Googling tide tables and surf reports helps for us coastal people.
