I got this one on christmas day in Oz, we'd been out on a boat trip in the Whitsunday Islands and we docked I noticed this seagull.

The Mountain Bluebirds have returned to the high country. They come back every second week of March. They'll stay for the summer, as they raise a couple sets of chicks. This time of year, the male is a very vibrant blue when the sunlight reflects off the maximum breeding plumage. The female is a pale grey with some pale blue. Wonderful way of nature.
