I would love to say yes, only 8 hours drive, But. It depends on the economy, I work concrete construction. Money is tight right now.

The reason I started GTG announcement and Convention publication early so people who think can't make it could start saving now. I hope you will make it, 8 hours a long drive though... then again doesn't beat my 2 days drive from NJ last September :P

I am looking forward to meeting with some of you in April.

Leo, Could you let us know which ones of us your not looking forward to meeting, you could potentially save some of us a lot of money :)

I hope every one had a great holiday so far and I wish all of you the best in the new year.

Uuuuhm... must be this "Lack of English" thing again. I meant some of you as in "some of DPC members who can make it to GTG"... that is "ALL of the members" who will be able to make it... which... also means "some" of DPC crowd...

:\

Leo, don't stress from the comment above it was my lame attempt at humour, when you meet me you'll understand :)

No harm Leo, I'm sure everyone else understood you right.

April 11th and 12th 2009

OK I have some great news for me and bad news for you all. Our youngest son, Isaac is on hiatus from filming Dino Dan during this get together and although he's filming another series during that time they don't film on weekends, so that frees me up to come. (see great for me bad for you all) So it looks like you'll have to put up with my bad jokes and warped sense of humor after all :)

Boy I can't wait. We only just found out about scheduling yesterday and already I've started working on my material.

MAX!

I have met with JulietNN today. It was very nice to meet with her; she is a very nice woman who surprised us with her super hospitality. Me and my four other friends rode there with our Harleys. About 3 hours one way to Tucson (we took the long way) but it was fun. I just couldn't believe when I saw the mountains with snow there :|

JulietNN and I talked about the AZ GTG in April, and exchanged some ideas for the convention. It was also an instructive meeting.

The AZ GTG and DPC Convention are off due to time limitations; I don't have any time from my work, so, there won't be any gathering and convention this year. I also pulled the hats deal for now. If I can find time for the hats later this year, I might giveaway another batch.

Leo canceled this due to time limitations. I think we should still plan a GTG on a smaller scale anyway. I know several others were planning on visiting AZ, they still might be interested.

Well, I have three bedrooms that can be used by visiting DPCer's.

Tis only an hour away from Phoenix, which is nothing compared to living in PhX as it takes you 3 hours to get from one side to the other

Leo ( FocusPoint) and I are discussing this offline and may have some details figured out soon -- we may be able to keep the dream alive. ;) If there's enough interest/people, we may as well do "something."

I'll post details when we have discussed them. Stay tuned! And, if you're interested, well, I guess keep checking in here... I've got a feeling, with all this interest, something will happen, one way or another. Just don't spend any big money or book anything flying in from overseas just yet... ;)
