Just an idea...

It would be interesting if the users of the site had more influence on what challenge topics were chosen. One way to do this would be to have a poll with 10 topics to choose from. You would get one vote. You would not see how many votes each topic had received. The top 3 choices would be selected as the challenges for the week. This would also give users more time to think of ideas.
