With just about everything you can do, there is a point where you get worse before you get better.

You have to have the lows to make your highs appear high. At least that is how it works for me.

At least I'm finding out early on that I suck...I just joined (as a paying member) April 11, and I've only entered a few challenges so far, and have a whopping 4.83 and a 5.63 on the current two. Maybe as I learn all the little doohickeys on my camera and in that blasted (and much loathed this week) Photoshop program, I will get better.

I guess doohickey isn't correct photo terminology either...

It's okay, I have just barely figured out most of my doodads, thingamabobbers, and all of it's bells and whistles.

That’s my problem. I know nothing about doohickeys. Maybe I better look it up.:)

There are WAY too many doohickeys on your camera, I wouldn't even comprehend where to begin!

Ditto! PLUS, in exactly 1 hour and 24 minutes, "Serendipity" opportunities will be falling out of the sky, coming out of the woodwork, staring me in the face....... etc. ..... etc. They'll be everywhere - EVERYWHERE!!!! ARGHHHHHHH!!!!

That's the way it generally works!!

828 means 8 hundred and 28 doohickeys. I'll never figure it out!

Yep, shortly after midnight a UFO will sculpt crop circles on my front lawn while Bigfoot looks on during a freak meteor shower.

At 12:00 midnight I’ll be sound asleep and dreaming of winning a ribbon in the Serendipity Challenge.

That's really quite odd. That happened at my house exactly one week ago! (1 hour and 20 minutes before the challenge started...)

I think that's the case for most of us.
