We just picked these up from Wolf Camera this morning, how can you beat 12GB of memory for free?!?

129.99 is the lowest I have seen the 16gb cards here in screw you land. lol Funny how these deals are non existent in Canada. Who lives in upstate NY? Would anyone buy me one or two and ship them to me? I'll pay everything in advance if need be.

B&H isn't accepting orders at this time.

FYI, the original offer's still valid.

Anyone know the limit on how big a card a D200 can handle?

The sale is now active at Adorama but sold through Amazon. Free shipping! If you click on the rebate link it takes you to Amazon, but the rebate can be found here.

Bah - rebate only available to US residents. Darn.

Sucks big time. Search for deals, maybe you'll get lucky b/c I didn't. :(

Definitely a better deal. The 16gb in the OP has a noticable lag compared to my SanDisk CF cards. I was really surprised how much slower the read response is in the camera.

I find no noticable difference in write or read speed on either my 1DMKIII or my 5D with this card. I use Extreme II and Extreme III cards as well as Ridata cards and I cant tell any difference in them.

I can see a little difference in the lag time, but I'm not complaining. I haven't quite figured out what my main purpose is going to be for having a 16GB card -- I'd be nervous to put all of my eggs in one basket, so to speak, to use it for weddings. I'll probably make good use of it on vacations, though.

I liked the other deal, so I got the three 4GB cards, too. I'm definitely not lacking in memory cards nowadays!

Same here. I'll probably only carry the Extreme III cards in my bag, but it's nice to have the option to shoot endlessly, and I'll probably need more space with my next camera (whatever it is) anyway.

The problem is not having space on memory cards, the new problem is HD space. At least for me anyways.

Yeah, the more photos on a single card the more you have to lose if it gets corrupted, so I wouldn't use it for wedding shots either.

It's great for transferring data/music/video files between computers.
You can use it to display a video slide show with sound on a digital Photo-Frame.
For advertising or to show your friends/relatives. It could hold Four 2-Hour DVD Movies.
