I actually thought that this challenge was quite well done, given what a difficult subject it was to capture in a shot, without relying heavily on titles to portray the idea well.

I did notice that there were a lot of shots that were dark and over contrasted but, in general, I think that the number of entries shows just how many people could NOT come up with a concept to shoot for this challenge and therefore, I applaud everyone who did enter this challenge! It wasn't an easy one. I, myself, couldn't come up with a brilliant shot, so didn't enter it and therefore fully appreciate the fact that these photographers did! :)

I knew right away what I wanted to shoot. The problem was trying to pick one of the many, many subjects I had to choose from. I am glad that no one else came up with the same idea. I thought for sure someone would.

some more comments would be nice. i like these small challenges, i can basically comment on ever photo. too bad very few people (it seems to me) do that as well

If you start a comment with "no offense" then it is obvious that you know you will probably offend somebody. We are all on here trying our best to improve our photography and constructive comments are always welcome.

I submitted an economy picture. I admit I liked the idea of it, I just couldn't get the execution right. I thought the others that did economy pictures did well. The low number of participants would indicate the difficult nature of this challenge.

PS I rarely comment on photos at the moment as I don't feel I have the photographic knowledge to give useful feedback. I will work on building confidence in this area in the future.

All the anonymous, low scoring, negative commenting voters are gone. They got scared away from all the thread posters. That leaves...oh...maybe a few voters left. And they would be the high scoring, great commenting, non bag-heads....and there aren't many of them on this site.
