I think it may gain more momentum over the next couple of weeks.

It almost seems like people have been a bit more hesitant about anything that looks remotely charity here lately. I know I had a ton of fun last year when a lot of people got involved with it. The more involved the merrier.

Some peeps may be in the process of shopping or shipping some of the "wish" items.
I don't think it's dead yet... :)

It's not dead. :) Some of us are just slow. :)

I'll be mailing a couple of things out next week. :)

lip gloss (any kind, any color -- true "gloss" or chapstick "style" either one)
nail polish (funky colors, especially)
pens and pencils
chocolate
colorful socks

a macro lens, or anyway to shoot macros using the 30D :)

Wait a couple of years. And then they'll wonder why on earth you want to spend $3,000 on a new camera body when "you already have a perfectly good camera". I hear that from the family all the time. :)

The 5dmkII is my dream for post x-mas. <-----jews don't get visited by Santa and last time I checked, 8 nights of presents still don't quite add up to a 2,700 dollar body.

hah well at least you get something. My parents are the epitome of stinginess and don't believe in presents for some reason. :P My dad especially, my mom enjoys buying presents but my dad has heavily influenced her and now she doesn't. But we still have a family get together and that's always lots of fun.

Its prob not the issue of giving as much as asking, for me anyway... there's a number of things that I'd be interested in but always hesitant to ask as I'm used to giving way more than receiving, as for me I get a lot more out of making someone's elses day.

On the cards, I hope to get mine done and out by the weekend :S as many as I can afford to send anyway...

That list sounds like a daily shopping trip for me...minus the macro lens.

All I want for christmas is an 82mm circular polarizer and a few hundred dollars to spend at Sephora.

I know this wouldn't be a great Christmas present, but does anyone smoke? I have tons of coupons for Camel brand cigs if anyone's interested PM me your address.

Do you have any other coupons you want to part with? I started to put that on my list but was afraid it would look cheesy. :P

Prints are a great idea, esp signed ;) . I have 1 on my wall at home from Kiwiness that's signed from the DPC workshop this year in Calgary.

Im a little looser in mind and tongue today to if I sound stranger than normal forgive me, its the huge amount of codeine Im on again :P for reasons which I wont get in to just some unfortunate events last night.

Anyways if anyone has any Colkin filters they dont want any more Id be willing to purchase some :) Ive been using a hard and soft grad ND8 filter for landscapes and starting to find them kinda cool.

I didn't want to post until I was sure I could fill at least a couple of other peoples wishes. Now I can! :)

My semi-realistic wishlist this year is short:

-A mini-softbox for a 580EXII
-DVD of Psycho Beach Party
-A glass or plastic container large enough for a flower bulb, with flat, untextured, uncolored, clear sides, and a a simple cutoff top (not rolled or framed for a lid) for a roots/leaves timelapse. I just cant seem to find one!
-Clear gel soil substitute

Of course if anyone has a 5DII or ABR800 ringflash sitting around collecting dust...

Edit:
karmat and redjulep, sent you a PM!

Of course, a print of one of your favorite images that you have taken.
