LOL! Really you should inform your family that $350 on camera stuff is a miniscule dollar amount and is considered to be bargain pricing in some circles.

I wish they would just ship the damn 5D Mark II's already. This $2700 I have is burning a hole in my pocket.

hahaaa I have!! They think I should find a less expensive hobby. heeheehee!

I'm wavering -- the 75-300mm f/4.5-5.6 would also do for the main purpose...but I would be minus portrait lens :(

Anyways enough of that -- am sending a few PM's but...college. Yes.

ah darn! i had that lens but sold it a month ago. i would have loved to have given it to you. sorry!

haha it's all good :) The 85mm f/1.8 would do better anyways, the gym I shoot in is really low light and I need a good portraiture lens.

Of course it is =) I actually collect the character sheets and comforters. Though my wife makes me share with my nephews whenever they come over... I have never been without a character comforter on my bed and I am 28 years old =)

Thats how I feel, its great having the curiosity and wonder of a child still within you. This is the room i set up with all of my kids stuff for my nephews. I featured it in the earliest memory challenge.

Has no one else noticed that this year's winning Presidential campaign slogan was swiped from the Bob The Builder theme song?

No Christmas presents here (not that I mind much though). In my country, Christmas is not a reason to give presents (although some are adopting the American way of live with great enthousiasm). It is a reason to eat and drink way too much though ;)

Haha as I experience the first day of really wintery weather, I have discovered my dire need for a hat/scarf!

There were SNOWMEN outside my dorm this morning!! They were only about two feet tall, and a Sammy* boy kicked one of them over, but they were there!!! (We discussed the possibility of kicking Sammy down, but we decided we might need Chuck Norris to accomplish this.)

*Sammy refers to Samuel Morris, the gigantic guys' dorm across the street from my leetul tiny dorm, Swallow-Robin.

Silly question here...if you decide to send someone a prezzy...how do we prevent from doubling up? :) Do we need to post if we'd contacted someone or how does that part work? :)
11/18/2008 04:16:04 PM · #122
Usually, some have just removed if they received something or strike it out. That's how its worked in the past.

I'd like someone to call me up and offer me a job doing travel photography in Italy - with some funding so I can get a decent camera and some good glass!

My pie is firmly set in the sky...
