Hey, if you move from a 40d to a 5dmk2 do you have to change your lens?

Only if you have an EF-S lens.

hmmmm my favorite lens the EF-S 10-22mm would have to change.... that blows.

I think your Tokina 10-17 won't fit either, but I'm not sure.

If I may be so bold, looking at you gear list, I'dd suggest investing in lenses before switching to full frame. But it's your decission of course.

u can't use the Sigma 70-300 anymore either

That one should be okay. Its not a DC lens. Your 50mm would be okay as well.

The 28-135 will work with the 5D as well.

i thought I sold it because it didn't work, but maybe I'm just getting old. In any case, you won't be happy with it once you tried it on the 5D, it's like mounting wooden wheels on a Porsche.
