Ok, here's the deal...

You cannot have won any ribbon any place on DPC. No Posthoumous, no DPC ribbons, no Prash, no Brown, (sorry I can't remember all the ribbons that are now given out), but no ribbon on the site official or user given. (I will be checking after you enter.)

Finally, here is your chance for a moment of glory...

Submit your best shot by midnight November 30th, DPC time.

Yup, even includes 100% comment ribbons, extra ordinary outreach, any ribbon any award on the site means you can't enter.

don't qualify for this, but asking out of curiosity - what would happen if you became a recipient of one of these ribbons during the month (regardless of whether you posted your image before or after you received one of these other accolades). Does the person become disqualified?

Woah! A challenge for almost failures and almost winners!! So, looks like I might fit in here. What is the challenge? A set topic or Free Study?

I think mediocrity would be a great topic. Any interesting shot is automatically a self-DNMC.

For the record, DNMC ribbons will not count. The recipient really did not do anything to earn it, so your in!

Elgibility is as of the beginning of November. If you win something after 00:01 November 1, 2008, then it does not count against you.

Hey, this is not right! I like the idea....but the rules are wrong. (IMHO)

I have one 1 ribbon. So I cannot enter the masters challenge. I have never been nominated in the posthumous thread, so I cannot enter. So now you decide that NO RIBBONS is the rule of the day here? so I cannot enter here either? Makes no sense.

May I humbly suggest that you adjust this to read one or less ribbons? So that people like me are not left in limbo?

I don't qualify either but I love the idea, I think this is a great idea, fantastic even. What about making it annual too, maybe yearly?
