heh, you guys are a hoot. thanks very much for the thought. but consider the plight of posthumous himself - even though he would qualify, he can't enter this challenge either :o

did anybody ever thought about SKEWSME?

maybe for this really great challenge she should be allowed to change
her name and be able to give DON a reason to to ????
i dont know
just a thought

she could easily have won Posthumous ribbons if she weren't married to the judge. :(

cutout is right
she should be in the challenge
(we can't punish the girl because her parents made her marry for the big money)

LOL. Personally, I think those "underappreciated gems" should be picked out by the likes of IreneM, Scalvert, DrAchoo, Timfythetoo and Kiwiness. :P

I always thought that when you reach a posthumous state, you don't care much for such earthly goods as ribbons.

If one or more of your photos have been nominated or awarded on the Posthumous Ribbons Thread* you are invited to post ONE picture to this thread in the month of November. Every picture will get a comment from me. At the end of the month, I will pick three ribbon winners.

What do you mean by "nominated"?

Dude, if someone thought enough of your picture to put it in the thread, you qualify.

Dag nabbit! I came close to Posthumous glory once with my "Window Pain" entry.
:-(
Is there a wildcard spot? ;-)

Yet another challenge I cannot enter. :( This site is making me a bitter old man. I hate being mediocre!

Good luck to all, I look forward to seeing the entries. :)

"If one or more of your photos have been nominated . . "

Yay - thanks to that nice jutilda - even I managed to get a nomination on this thread. Only a single one mind - but a nomination none the less :- )

Now what do you have to do ?

So does the shot actually have to be taken this month - or just processed this month ?

I ask that you create something new this month, on the honor system. You can incorporate old photographs in a composite, however.

In other words, created in the month of November, not strictly from the date of the announcement.

This is the honor system. If it's just a straight up shot with normal processing, I ask that you take the picture this month. If it's just being used as part of a composite or if the processing completely transforms the image, then it can be an old photo, but still should be your photo.

(Why do I sense the SC watching with glee as I'm forced to answer questions like this...)

"Normal editing" or "any" editing? What size and kb restriction? (My eligibility, thanks to Chromeyguy and OOBIErs, is beginning to weigh heavily on my slapdashery soul).

I'm out
while appreciating the posthumous ribbons and comments I got
I don't think I want to make a picture for a certain individual to like
good luck to everyone.
