...best...challenge...ever.

I am totally psyched about this.

...and I can hardly wait to see the rest of the entries, so glad you decided to start this challenge.

I can try to help by reviling my friend cutout system
get a cheap camera
have a few shots of vodka
leave it in a place full of dust (a carpenter shop or such) for a few weeks
have a few shots of vodka
when you go out shooting, shot in any direction, in low shutter speed while moving the camera (it creates a natural blur)
you can use expensive filters like broken glass covered in dust or put a candle under the glass and turn it black (kind of a polarizing filter)
have a few shots of vodka
load the pictures to your computer and use Picasa for the editing (that's the secrete of success)
now comes the difficult part - you have to get creative.
(a few shots of vodka help)

Only pointandshoot has a better method. I think his involves gin, but I'm not sure.

People! As long as you've been nominated in the Posthumous Thread somewhere, you're eligible! That includes mindbottling, Melethia, et al.

I remember you called out one of my photos, but I think it was before you started the official, running thread. I can't remmeber if I got one since -- I will have to review the early pages ...

Look on my entry, ye hopeful, and despair.

Hey Don,

Do these photos have to be submitted after the date this thread was announced or are you going to allow anything to be submitted? Also, in addition to giving out your three ribbons why don't you also list out your full ranking (assuming it's not 500 entries or so) or at the very least announce your last place finisher. It would be cool to get a Posthumous Brown and an MFS II Brown in the same month! :P

You have to find something to enter for both! I wasn't planning to shoot this month either except for one planned shoot made ahead of time but now I have to find something to enter for both.

I ask that you create something new this month, on the honor system. You can incorporate old photographs in a composite, however.

In other words, created in the month of November, not strictly from the date of the announcement.

means you are in. posthumous can confirm, but I think any award given in the thread is qualifying....

she could easily have won Posthumous ribbons if she weren't married to the judge. :(

cutout is right
she should be in the challenge
(we can't punish the girl because her parents made her marry for the big money)

Personally I'm looking forward to the post-posthumous awards that get handed out to the underappreciated gems that are going to be overlooked in this mainstream, conformist challenge.

Mainstream, conformist challenge's RULE!

You Suck!
