I can't believe nobody started this thread yet. Looking for some smokin' ideas? You may want to start with a little history.

Just remember...it is Basic Editing...so no painting pretty colours in Photoshop!

Heres a possibly stupid question, can you "invert" the image in basic?

ok... this is a new record for me... I just entered my pic =P

Setup took about 1 hour, and it took 1 hour for the photo shoot, and 30 min to do some camera raw magic and submit,,,

so 2.5 hours in total =)

phew!

What we need are fresh new ideas not old ones. Do we really need to see the same shots on the front page again?

Just submitted mine... based on the current number of submissions I'd say I a good chance of scoring somewhere in the top 40...:)

OMG!!! i'm dieing here... whenever you take pictures of smoke there are always so many different shots that all look good in their own way... it's SO had to choose!!! i've had three pictures on my desktop in a row for the past 6 days and i CAN'T decide!!! AGH!!!! sorry... just venting here...
