Not sure if this has been mentioned before but I would like to see the voting breakdown (real time)on the left margin underneath our submission during a challenge.
So when you hit the update the average gets updated as well as the voting breakdown.

I know there are so programs out there that allow you track your votes and find out what vote you just received. I would find this much easier.

Any thoughts?

I think you might get too close to defeating the concept of voter anonymity - but that's just a guess.

With that being said, there is a program you can download that will figure out the vote value - or average value - since the last update. I think it's an excel program and can be found in the "learn" section or the forums. (sorry, I cannot remember the name or location).

thanks I am aware of it. But this would not give away voter anonymity. It would appear just like it does on your picture page(after the voting is ove) as a graph . But in this case it would appear in real time under your submission in the left margin.

The only problem with the excel program is that if you miss an update of more than 2 votes you are not sure what you received. This new way will show you each vote and how many of each vote you received. So now you will know how many 10s or 1s you received since your last update.

I agree with LVicari, I think this would be a nice feature to add to the update. That way, if my image is sucking (as they have been recently), I can at least see if some people like the shot by ways of the number of 8s, 9s, and 10s it might be getting. Some photos do not appeal to the masses, but its nice to know it appeals to someone.

So... Im all for it.

I think this would cut down on the "I just got trolled" comments because most people don't know the mathematics of voting and how much it affects their overall score.

But couldn't it also lead to "Hey, I had 6 tens before rollover, where'd they go?" discussions. Or possibly "I had twelve ones, all but two are gone. I guess only two trolls voted on this challenge."

i like the status quo.

waiting til the end of the challenge is like having a mini christmas. you get to see how may good and crappy 'presents' you get. I think taking all the mystery out of the voting process would be a negative.

same with keeping voting anonymous. I vote my mind.....now....if it weren't anonymous..I wouldn't feel comfortable voting because I would be self concious.
