I own the Canon Digital IXUS II and just noticed that there was also another camera in the Canon listing with the name Canon PowerShot SD100, but to my knowledge, they are both the same cameras, they have only been given different names according to where you purchased the camera...

Perhaps DPC could merge the two together? :)

Canon seem to like confusing people :P

Rebel>300D>Kiss :)

Unfortunately this is a "known limitation" of the camera database. There isn't a good answer for now, but hopefully in the future the admins will come up with some way to have "alternative names" for the same camera, so that when you "browse by camera", you see all of the challenge entries for the camera, regardless of what locale it was purchased in...

Maybe using both/all names for camera? eg. Canon Rebel/300D

Unfortunately, this makes the camera model name very long and "messy" looking (especially under the username in forum posts). This would be the "technically correct" model name for the Digital Rebel:

Canon Digital Rebel / EOS-300D / Kiss Digital

representing the US, European and Japanese names for the exact same camera...
