neither are mine :) (p.s. I shot my pic an hour ago, and submitted it about 15 minutes ago....hahaha, ahhhhh..I'm going to get such a low score)

There are some nice images (just looking so far) but Red Riding Hood (lots of them) are not Brothers Grimm according to my research .. if I'm wrong someone please correct/show me.

I believe it's referred to Little Red Cap, But I might be wrong

There is a variation of red riding hood (or maybe it's the original one for all i know) called the girl in the red bonnet or something, and it is one of the grimm tales.

From The Brothers Grimm -
The script presents a unique interpretation of the Brothers Grimm who travelled through Germany and other countries performing field research for their linguistic work. A by-product of this research was a series of stories which they had collected in their travels and eventually published as a collection of authentic German fairy tales. These included Cinderella, Tom Thumb, Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, The Frog Prince, The Gingerbread Man and Snow White.

Local costumes are still worn everywhere.

There are so many excellent images, I'm not voting tonight as I'm far too tired to pay decent attention but I'm looking forward to it tomorrow. Or today rather, as it's half 5 in the morning. There are actually a few tales I didn't know were Grimm stories, so I learned something too!

Looking at these photos has made me desperate to watch my 10th Kingdom DVD, haha :)

Looks as though I am going to be be penalized for a spelling error.

Why Have so many called their photo "Little Red Riding Hood" No.20, in my research is called "Little Red Cap." I do not believe The Brothers Grimm titled their tale Little Red Riding Hood.

The title of your entry should be the title of the tale it is based on.

I don't look at my scores until at least an hour after the voting starts since the early votes are almost always so inaccurate, but I am excited to get another Top-100 finish ... :-)

More people know the story as Little Red Riding Hood, that's all. I don't think anyone will vote you down on a spelling error; maybe if the title was the only thing about the pic that relates to a Grimm story, sure but one spelling error isn't gonna cost you votes; we rate photos, not grammar :)
