Oh my goodness, don't even get me started on getting stuck in the eye! I thought my daughter put mine out this evening when she (accidentally) jammed a wire with a piece of plastic on it into my eye. I screamed it hurt so badly.

On the upside, my day can't get much worse... only up from there eh? haha!!

Where does one get a piece of wire with plastic on it? I'm guessing from some packaging or something?

My score isn't horrible, but a big disappointment so far.

No, my boys have a toy flying dragonfly and she was buzzing it around with her hands and singing and she decided it would be nice to fly it into my face (she's 3). Needless to say, it's gone now... it's okay though, it was my left eye ;)

OUCH! But then again, I've had plenty of objects thrust into my eye by children at that age. It's amazing I can see and even hear.

To keep on topic:

They pulled the trigger and now I am suffering. 6 is just the best I can do. I don't have a 6.5+ in me.

A 6 sounds pretty good right about now. I think it's time for bed to see if I can hold onto an average score.

Question: Is there a shooting date restriction in the free studies? E.g. an october FS can only accept the shots taken after it was announced? I hope not.

I've voted and commented on a handful, even faved one or two and probably will fave many more tomorrow. Great selection, really fantastic. Mine is mediocre and sitting at a mediocre 4 but then, I knew that'd happen, what with it being mediocre and all. Wish I'd entered my funny pic instead.

I have 10 photos that I think could win out of that group. I loved a bunch of them. I am in awe of a few of them.

It must be taken after the challenge is announced, just like all of the challenges.

If the shot is taken in September, then it will be DQd if you're asked to validate.

I'm really proud of my shot. This is my first free study and I shot something totally not in my usual niche to try and stretch myself. It turned out really nice here's to hoping the voters do too!

Either I'm getting what I deserve, or we just got hit by a low voter. (It was a 2).
10/01/2008 01:31:15 AM · #73
That is my favorite group of free study images. I am going to spend more time going through them later. There are some photos that really will get me thinking about how I take my next couple shots.

Ok thanks. Do you know where it says that? I think it is obvious from the challenge title.. nothing in the challenge details. Sorry if it is a dumb question.
