Do an update to version 3.0. You have to update the software and then it will prompt you to update the device. Both are new and have cool new features like virtual dj lists that update new songs in play lists automatically, and some cool new social features.

"i plugged it in it said it had an update but didnt do anything" comment previously posted

it did in fact, did not update :p

thank you so much for posting about it lol otherwise i probably wouldnt have known I will update my software now then try the device

That is not cool. Hmm. Did you go to the Zune site and just re-download the .exe setup file. I bet that would do the trick.

Make sure you plug the USB cable into one of the ports located in the rear of your computer as the ones on front are sometimes underpowered and cause errors similar to what you have described.

I made it to round 3 in Hexic. That is so sweet that they upgraded. Usually upgrades mean more gear which means more money which I have none of.

SWEET! So when you listen to the FM radio now, if you click on the song as it is playing it gives you the option to add it right to your cart and download it. That is awesome!

Just curious what OS is your computer and have you done a Windows Update in a while?

and Jason the object of Hexic is to get 6 of the same color around a single color this will give you a star... then get 6 stars around a single color will give you an oyster... not easy... Have the bombs started dropping on you yet?

I have had a couple of them bombs. It is not an easy game that is for sure. I am going to play some more tomorrow.

I kept my PC updated and am running Vista, so it was a breeze. I bet you are right however if the OS isn't current it might give you fits.

My Zune 30gb died last week. MS won't fix it b/c I bought it in the US and I live in Canada. Early adopters get the shaft it seems. I shopped around for an ipod out of pure spite of MS for not fixing my Zune but will probably end up buying another Zune. 120gb should be enough for a while. I can upload my entire music collection to it and still have 30gb loose for ~~pron~~ cartoons. ;]

Too late, I've taken it apart and now it's a pile of junk. :] What could I do with that screen though, hmmm.
