We'll arrive 10.17am at the Victoria Station, I've been told the tube takes 20min to get to Liverpool Street Station, so from there we'll head to the Gherkin and catch up with you guys.

Incase I forget to post this later, the only place I really know at Liverpool Street is the pub across the road but as I can't remember it's name thats not very helpfil for a meeting point! So, if you come out of the station where McDonalds is there is a sort of courtyard area, Andi and I should be there from around 10.15 :o)

If any of you need my mobile number just incase feel free to send me a PM and I might let you have it ;o)

Was trying to find lenses to leave behind tomorrow but still have the 15mm, 17-40, 50, 24-70 and 70-200.

I might even consider a one lens trip if a couple of others want to do the same?

Have a great time tomorrow. Hope the weather is significantly better than March! Enjoy and wish I was able to join.

We can't make it, sorry Guys! We have a visit so have to work all weekend. These happen a couple of times a year and there is no warning, typical that it had to be this weekend, but hopefully the visit will end before Xmas.

Enjoy your walk and I look forward to seeing the photos:)

Andi, I'll either come with the 17-55 or the 8 and the 50, but the 8 will be useless when it rains... Either way I plan to go lightweight.

Gilles, just to let you know I have written (well email) confirmation that we are fine to take photographs at the 'Gherkin', just incase you get there before me and anyone hassles you...tell them I'll be along shortly lol ;o)

See you all in a few hours :o)

Thanks to everyone who made it today, the weather wasn't good to us as the day went on but it was great to see you all again and meet a few new faces :o) Many thanks to Matthew for leading us around the City and his great commentary...I'm always moaning at Andi that he doesn't know enough about things, Matthew you totally made up for it today it was good to learn bits about the area we were walking around :o) Thanks also to dainmcgowan for getting us back to London Bridge tube station!

I also have a note of thanks from the International Brain Tumour Alliance which I'd like to pass on to those of you who made it today...

Dear friends of Rose Buddies and the international brain tumour community,

Warmest greetings from around the world!

Your activity here will make its mark on the global brain tumour community. The walking you do today will help to raise awareness about brain tumours, one of the most devastating of all cancers and one of the most neglected.

The combined distance you cover walking today could help us to reach our target of three times around the world at the Equator - 120,000 kms. We are almost there. People just like you have already walked a combined distance of 106,000 kms in the United States, in Canada, in Australia, and in Europe.

Please go that extra lap but don't let it stop there. Please keep on showing solidarity with others around the globe whose lives are touched by brain tumours by continuing to raise awareness of this disease.

Good luck and warmest wishes for every success today. Each and every step you take is one step closer to a cure for brain tumours.

Kindest regards,

Denis Strangman, Chair (Canberra, Australia)

and

Kathy Oliver, Secretary (Surrey, United Kingdom)

The International Brain Tumour Alliance (IBTA)

The miles we covered today will be added to those walked by other RoseBuddies supporters over the last week and I'll let you know what the world total comes to when it's announced :o)

Thanks again all...next time we're ordering some sunshine for the day!!!

Thanks for arranging this, my 3rd wet London GTG T! guess I was the last one home (22:45).

Not much in the way of pictures after the first peep but might be able to find a couple worthy of showing you guys ;)

And, I'd like to say it was 100% Canon today (top notch guys).

Sorry guys, ended up going through London at 7:00am and to be honest needed sleep more than anything, so jumped on the train at Kings Cross. Was home and asleep by 10:30.

Glad you guys had a good time. I will make it down to a London GTG at some point.
