Thank you Karen. As soon as we have one more nomination, I will submit the contenders to the judge's panel.

Thank you for thinking about others!

Judi's wonderful thread... (100% comments awards) "judi, you should get the "Community Award" Thank you for all your support and motivation. Your effort and support is highly appreciated."

I agree. Judi's awards encourage everyone to comment more and take a lot of time to award. Please consider her for your award, Prash.

Hah! I just saw this renewed thread, and was about to nominate Eric. And for the record, in the end he GAVE me the laptop, said "Just pay it forward someday when you can."

Whatta guy!

Just a note that Steve, pawdrix, has done this for many people, not just me. Taking time out from his day to go to Times Square and take pictures of our winning photos on Kodak's Big Screen. Thanks again Steve.

I'd like to nominate Joe/ dirt_diver for his great giving of time and brain cells to run and do the stats for the DPC Olympics.

It's an incredible amount of work that he does for us all here.

EDIT to include link to some of his work:

Thank you Karen. I will include all the reference threads you shared in the awards section. The list was so long we fell short of space.. isnt that something to be proud of? :-)

Congrats Steve!

I have two people I'd like to nominate.

Their generosity is very meaningful to my family, as it is for my children at Christmas, who've both been begging for their own cameras for months. I inquired about cameras for kids in this thread, before our financial situation started to get so nasty (stupid economy), expecting only advice/opinions. Along came spiritualspatula and BAMartin, who sent cameras to me, paying also for shipping. Derek also sent a case and cable, and Barbara sent a brand new battery charger and batteries as well.

Thank you two very much!

Thanks Slippy. I will for sure add these generous souls to the award nominations. Wow!:-)

The names will be sent to the judge's panel soon at an appropriate time for decision.

Uhh... Here I am again *rolleyes*

I also nominate art roflmao

for giving away his hard-won free membership to another:

The Thread where Art is a Hero once again

I know he's already gotten it once, but I don't want his kindness to go unnoticed. :)

Hi, Lydia,

Art already flaunts a "Star Award" if you check the first message in this thread:-)

The judge's panel has been notified of the remaining nominees and the decisions should be out soon.

I'd like to second that nomination. Dirt_Diver made the DPC Olympics possible when I first created it, and he has continued to run it for 3 seasons. The success of DPCO has been because of him. I hope you win buddy :)
