So I made it through my first wedding! The link to the photos is below. I'm working on my list of things I most need to improve on -- I'm thinking at the top of the long list is fill flash. Your thoughts?

Any comments on the photos in general would be much appreciated (here, not on Flickr pls)! Are the reception photos too grainy? Overkill on the darkened edges? Do you mix B&W with colour shots or stick to one style?

Thanks!

I have to say that you are pulling our AMAZING black and whites.

How are you doing that?

Thanks for the kind words. 21.gif Lemeryj gets credit too -- he was my 2nd shooter and on his first wedding too.

Thanks for all the comments dwterry -- really appreciate it!

My black & white technique is a Gradient Map adjustment layer with a Channel Mixer adjustment layer beneath it. Then I really boost the reds.

Any advice for my next wedding? :)

wow i love i absolutely LOVE that there are so many different backgrounds, and so many different fun poses as well as formal ones as well, the bride and groom seem as if smiling is their thing so that really just adds to the pictures
i think you did amazing
