DPCOIII Nor'easter Storm Center!!

You like that, dontcha! :-)

Sorry Id keep up more but giving your photography direction and purpose is tough work!

Ha, winning the verbal war that you have incited?!? I think not, I have just been being nice and tame, giving you time to prepare. Ill bring the fight to you that I did to the Aussies! We took them, well take you too!

How come I always post first on you team threads? lol

Im just trying to keep you engaged here, Jake! =^D

Fantastic! I love them. If my name is too long to fit, you can just use "Fish".

Great job. Thanks.

Hey guys just a reminder, I need someone to PM me with a team captain and a banner. Make sure the size of the banner is 500x81. If it is not then it will be stretched to that size and it will just look funny.

Thanks, Joe

I'll be checking flicr in just a bit.
Just looked at the jerseys and I must say they kick ass.

I am trying to get one in -- we will see. I'd rather not submit a poor one just to get one in.

I didn't have anything for the product shot challenge, but I'm working on something for immovable. It might be kind of a stretch, but with less than 20 entries so far, I might take my chances. I'll have a few up on flick tomorrow.

Hope everybody had a nice weekend.

Haze, the Jerseys look really amazing. Definitely top notch work!!!

I got in a nice full morining on Sat in Newburyport,MA, a scenic fishing village.

I was at a Nikon Safari, where for $50 you could use Nikon equipment all morning long and get help from photo reps on using the cameras. I used a D300 and the following lenses, 24-80, 80-400, and the 14-24 (I might have some of the exact numbers off). The D300 was a sweet camera and took great pcitures no matter what lighting was present. The controls were a little odd, as I kept shutting it off when trying to adjust the exposure, seems a strange place to put the on/off switch. The 80-400 was out of this world, it must have weighed 7-8 lbs and took super clear photos. Did not focus on anything closer than 6 feet away!

I entered something for the Product Shot, a very simple shot using my own Sony. It is scoring at 5.3 which is about right for it. The Shallow DOF photos on Flickr are all with the Nikon.

I shot tons at the Vermont GTG. I have entered the shot I posted on Flicr. I went back and forth on that shot but after looking at past shallow challenges I thought this would and should do well. I'm very jealous about the Nikon Safari. I've played with the D300, great camera but not much different than my D200. However, I've had my hands on the D3 and can only say "WANT ONE" as well as the 14-24mm 24-70mm. Both of those are extremly sharp and just amazing glass. I should say the difference between the D200 and D300 is all inside, on the outside they are pretty much the same.

Right click on the image, then pick properties. That should show you the URL, so copy that. Than go to your pref's, select the little Icon for insert image, then paste in that URL, and presto chango...

Actually, I just finally figured this out myself. My old Joker banner was tiny until today. :-)

Two things that I LOVE about the banner/jersey...

Tony actually requested, and GOT the symbol for Pi. That's just fantastic.
The banner says "The Storm Cometh.!" That's just bad ass!!! :-)

I couldn't have asked for or even thought up anything cooler. Again, exellent work!!
