| I've tried it with my S5 IS. Pretty cool and adds a lot of handy features. Biggest issue is that the RAW format from that camera with the hack is non standard. Canon's DPP won't read it. The open source RAW Therapee will, but it runs very slowly on my computer. Since I also have a Rebel, I just use that if I want RAW. |

I used CHDK extensively on my S3. I had the same issue with the resulting RAW files...I found that running them through DNG for Powershot let me open the DNG in ACR. Photomatix also was able to parse and pseudo-HDR the .dng files. Like you, I'm also now a dSLR owner...all that CHDK crack made me want to go out and buy an ounce of the stuff.

I tried loading it on my S3, but I couldn't figure out how to activate any of the features. :-( |
