I`m currently sitting with 175 votes for the March free study submission and unless I`ve got it wrong ..this is the last day of voting. Since there were over 300 submissions, I thought there would be more votes at this stage of the proceedings...or is it just me that`s lacking them ?

To compare.."Out of place"..243 submissions and just short of 300 votes.

Part of the problem may be that the last free study had a 2-week voting period... perhaps some people think there is still more time to vote (personally, I didn't realize the Free Study voting ended in less than 7 hours!) Last time, people complained that the 2 week voting period was too long. Now it is the opposite problem! =]

I have 192 votes on MFS. The number of votes on a members' challenge is always less than an open challenge. Plus with three challenges to vote on people may be choosing to vote on other challenges, or else there are a lot of members' who just dont vote.

I saw this mentioned in a previous thread and that is what was going through my head. Bearing in mind that this challenge has been readily accepted as being one with many high quality images..I did expect that the voting numbers would almost match the submissions.

First we had that Aprils fools joke where my score tumble from 7.4 to 4.7 ,now we have half of the votes missing and my score is 5.7 !

Something is very wrong here,i don't like this!

Kosta, I don`t think any of us could take another day like that.

I think all we need is 1 comment if it is a good critique.

I also like the 7 day voting period.

My score has been sliding ever so slightly all day, so as far as I am concerned, the voting can end NOW, LOL.

195 votes and 34 comments?

You lucky to have so many comments(if it helpful,of course).

I have 8 comments and 182 votes. Same as yesterday. Everyone rushed to Wheels challenge, I think.

Yep, definitely the most comments I have received in any challenge I've entered (or not entered, LOL!). But also my highest score to date. Normally I've gound the higher the score, the higher the number of comments. Or images that are controversial, which may not score extremely well, but elicit alot of comments.

It's equivalent to my last 4+ challenges combined. I haven't received more than 30 comments (or more than 20 for that matter) since May '03!

I'm at 184 votes, 20 comments. Definitely highest in both score & comments for me.
My Motion blur only pulled 1 comment. A very similar photo scored 20 places higher & pulled more comments. GUess they just didn't like my version.

Last challenge dominated by Team FujiFilm FinePix S602Z and this challenge dominated by Team Canon EOS-300D Rebel commenting that is :)

C'mon Team Cybershot.

I am just hoping it gets replaced by another 'free study' (or something similar that is a more general topic) vs. the really specific ones.....
