Get another group and we can invite the Ohio Rennies to Houston!

A GTG at TRF (texas Ren-Fest) might be a topic for another thread !

So how's the weather looking for this thing? I almost had my son Jack (the one in the cast) talked into going but I think he did not want to be pushed around in a wheelchair all day lol.

Well weather looks iffy right now. It appears that scattered storms are scheduled as of today. Its still just Tuesday so that may not mean much of anything. But it looks like it could be muddy. No matter what the weather is the Toole Clan will be there. Just keep me updated on what everyone else is planning. I will post again and send PM's to all who want in on the package deal.

In the event of scattered showers, should we make an alternative plan. I just googled the weather and if it's gonna rain the whole time - what a bite that 6 hour drive and hotel room would be!

We're still in and planning on a Friday night arrival, the GTG and staying at Tim & Aimee's on Saturday.

OK - I am going to hold out til Friday afternoon/evening before I order the remaining package tickets. I am pretty comfortable that I have at least 4 people that want them, but I am going to hold out til Friday when I get solid confirmation from everyone to buy them. I will be sending you all pm's with contact numbers and such tomorrow.

At the moment it sounds like townley, dsterner and justamistere will be hanging Saturday night for the sleep over. We still have more space if anyone else is interested (though that space will be on the air mattress or couch). I will have the "studio" cleaned out and ready for shooting. dsterner - bring your 580 and umbrella with you if you can and we can try some different light setups. Models will be available - of course they will all be very familiar ones (you will have hung out with them taking pics all day long).

And I also need breakfast suggestions - primarily items you DO NOT eat.

That all said - check your PM's in the next 24 hours for the Too's contact info.

OK everyone. I just sent a bulk PM to everyone who said they were coming. It has our contact info in it. Get a hold of me by tomorrow evening 8pm to confirm. Thats when I will be ordering the last group of tickets.

This should be a blast and I am looking forward to meeting new faces and seeing the familiar ones.

I really do not eat cats/kittens as I may have implied in any posts. Have you ever seen the "Bizarre Foods" with "Andrew Zimmern" on the Food Channel, we'll those are the only items I would NOT eat, as long as I'm not in dire need.

Looking forward to an exciting weekend!

Are you going to wear just your clown mask and codpiece like last time?

No clown mask, and I'm not wearing my Mr. Bean mask either.

Tim could you wear your pink tutu tomorrow at the Renaissance-Festival so I can find you more easily? That way you'll stick out more in the crowd. Or you might be surrrounded, BY a crowd.

I will bring some Wescott umbrellas and stands, and some Strobes/transmitters to share in the studio.

I may bring some teeth-rottening sweets for the kids so they don't beat me up. Maybe some cheese, too. I noticed kids say cheese sometimnes, right before I shoot em. Are your kids interested in a pound of glitter, black paint, and some permanent-markers?. I know idnic's daughter had fun with some of those props.

One other thing. I need everyones full names for the tickets. They check them against your ID I believe. The cost is either 26 or 27 dollars a ticket.

Weather is still looking crazy... :( I'm hoping the clouds run out of rain on Friday...

Stupid Townley won't take off on Friday so we can't leave early! She gets home around 6:15 and I expect to be on the road to Columbus by 7 - add 4 or 5 hours drive time (depending on who's driving - guess who drives faster better!) and we'll be looking at bedtime upon our arrival then wake up very rested for the Ren Fest!

I'd like to meet up with Tim & Aimee to caravan together to the GTG Ren Fest. I have the cell numbers and address for the too's, my batteries charged, got the flash, my homemade car reflectors (I love being an art teacher!), stands and umbrellas (oops, the umbrella I lined with tin foil didn't close as well as I hoped!)...um the 580 is with me as well as those other goofy ones with slave attachments...assorted cords and attachments, duct tape (cause you know you'll need it), extra AA batteries and a puzzle book incase Michelle, Deb and John turn out to be completely boring ;)...Aidan and I can run off looking for cool stuff anyway.

There are 2 folks here in Angola, NY who are really looking forward to the GTG!
ETA ...typos - ya think?

We'll drive in separate cars - I have a hunch I won't like Michelle very much and will want to go back home ASAP!

Oh golly, I am laughing my a$$ off teasing Michelle - who has been so kind to me with her post challenge comments. I bet $$$ I cry when I see you!
