I am pretty sure I upgraded outside of renewal.

Eh. I hope so. I renewed anyway as it was coming up.
Strange to go from 100MB to 1GB. An intermediate level would be fine. $5 for every 100MB of additional storage purchased may be a better money grab from the site's perspective.
