anybody?

I know you can do it when you renew your membership, otherwise I think its a matter of getting a hold of the SC to get them to help you with it. Just send a ticket would be my advice.

Sweet! Now I can upload all kinds of photo junk!!! :P
With that much space available, would it be possible to use the space like other sites, with password protected areas so that if I upload photos for a client(ok, just family photos :P) only they can see them? It may be a lot of programming though to keep private, but get some new members who are on the fence. Just a thought, I was very happy to get this nice little bonus! Thanks again.

Where do you think that extra portfolio space came from? Open challenges will now be limited to 90 pixels... ;-P

Go to the membership renewal and renew your membership and space at the same time. Your membership will get extended by another year and you'll get a year of extra space. It's unfortunate you can't just upgrade space.

I actually won't be uploading twice as much crap. Actually, everything I upload will be twice as crappy, just to make up for it. It's not quantity, it's (lack of) quality that counts.

In about 5 years of technological advancement DPC will be giving people Terabytes of storage, and you will receive a free Canon to help get you started as a member.

Good - how do you add and name new portfolios?

Thanks

Go to Home > My Portfolio and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page -- there are buttons to create new galleries.

Thanks for the increase but....

Couldn't basic members get an upgrade from 50 to say 200 or maybe a bit more?

I just renewed my basic membership and it cost me $38 (after exchange rate - ozzie dollar is crap at the moment), not just $25 like it is for others. A little more room for the money would be nice.

Just sayin.....

We're all paying the same price as you are Maria. :D Servers are in the US so USD is how we pay. If the servers were in Oz, then that would be another matter.

eta

We have 100mb, not 50, btw.

You have to feel sorry for the Japanese members, it's costing them 2,250 Yen to join.

Great, except I would use the Canon as an anchor for my boat! (if I had a boat....)

I don't think I would do that but I would like a camera to shoot IR.

I guess that would be ok, as long as you keep the Barbie camera as your main one. ;)

Due to demand and the ever lower cost of disk space, everyone's portfolio space has been doubled. If you've purchased an upgrade, either to 500MB or 1GB, you should now be at 1GB or 2GB, respectively. Members who did not elect an upgrade when purchasing membership, should not be at 100MB.

ETA- You may need to log out and back in for this change to take effect.

Hmm...my portfolio says 100MB. I'll take the 500MB please!

How to upgrade

Too bad you can only upgrade during the renewal or registration process.
