I've gone to a barbershop a few blocks from my house for years. I liked it because you just went in, sat down, got a haircut, paid $15, and walked out. Fast and no planning. The shop was closed for about a year, which caused me to buy a buzzer at the Canadian Tire, which lead to a series of pretty messed up, self inflicted haircuts.
Finally, last week, the shop reopened under new ownership, so I went this morning. Happily, it's pretty much the same, and even cheaper, $9. I was a little surprised, however, when the big spray can came out after the guy ever so carefully combed my hair so very straight down, hehe.
The wife laughed at me when I got home, but my seven year old daughter said I look like a TV star. :-D
Oh, and my hair was pretty long! I told him to take off as little as possible, and just thin it out. At least three inches are gone, haha!
How do you rate my new haircut???

man i'd get that buzzer out again - not sure you could do much damage...
i also might stay away from those 'fruity' type clubs or bars... oh and the biker type ones as well... ;}
