I am helping a friend settle down in Chicago and will be visiting her this September wherein we will setup her house from scratch.
One of the aspects that I couldnt lock down were the walls. I find the options unlimited and one wonders what the creative community here does for filling up those stark white walls with color?

I had seen one very interesting contraption long back which was in effect a very large print mounted on wood / canvas and behind it a bracket right in the centre which would attach to the wall. I forgot where I had seen that and now I cant find it on the internet. It makes the print appear raised from the wall and gives it a very nice look. Anyone know what I am talking about?
